Yesterday the market started off down strong off of Goldman Sachs earnings news, then rebounded strong off of news of possible unemployment benefits extension and upbeat earnings news. Last night Apple blew away it's earnings estimates and rose strong into after hours trading, we should see further upside today. Today the overall market may see a little bounce off of Apple's upbeat earnings news. We only have Crude Inventories for economic reports today. It looks like we will have a slight gap up or flat market open. The market will more than likely be slightly in the green or flat today.
For today, I will be bracketing the appropiate time periods, and watching for a trend day either way.

( 4.3 / 76 )Yesterday the market saw some strength off of upbeat earnings and news that the Obama administration is pressing to extend unemployment benefits once again, but then towards the afternoon's close the market ended flat. We have Building Permits and Housing Starts for economic reports today. It looks like we will have a slight gap up or flat market open. The market will more than likely be flat or slightly to the downside as investors await pending earnings report results to be the catalyst for the markets next move.

This week we probably can expect some volatilty and continued downside for most of the week, if the not the whole week as the bearish market sentiment continues. We have the National Homebuilders Index for economic reports today. We have a big week for earnings this week, which will add heavy volatility. Apple and NFLX have their earnings calls this week, just to name a few. It looks like we will have a slight gap up or flat market open today. The market will more than likely be flat or may see some slight weakness as investors digest the strong selloff from last Friday.
