It looks like the Santa Claus rally is officially here, we will be able to know for sure next week during options expiration week though. We have a slew of economic reports due today, which includes Retail Sales, Export and Import prices, and Business Inventories, just to name a few. It looks like we will have a gap up today at the market open. The market will more than likely be flat or slightly up today.

For today, I will be watching the gap, bracketing the appropiate time periods and watching for a trend day either way.
