Another flat day... Yesterday the market attempted to rise, but once again worries over economy took precedent and the market ended up seeing weakness for most of day to then close flat. We probably will see continued weaknes today. We have GDP Numbers, Chain Deflator, Employment Cost, Chicago PMI, and Michigan Sentiment for economic reports today. It looks like we will have a slight gap down or flat market open. The market will more than likely see more weakness today depending up the results of the GDP numbers.

For today, I will be bracketing the appropiate time periods, and watching for a trend day either way.

And the bears take the reigns.... Yesterday the market saw some weakness as investors started to come to terms with the reality of the economic recovery. The Fed came out and announced that the economic recovery was still on track, but the recovery was slowing in some areas. We have Initial Claims and Continuing Claims for economic reports today. It looks like we will have a slight gap up or flat market open. The market will more than likely be flat or slightly to the upside today.

For today, I will be bracketing the appropiate time periods, and watching for a trend day either way.

And the rally comes to an abrupt halt... Yesterday the market ended up being flat the whole day as a lackluster Consumer Confidence report put a damper in the bullish investor's optimism. We have Durable Orders, Durable Orders ex Transportation, and Fed's Beige Book for economic reports today. It looks like we will have a slight gap up or flat market open. The market will more than likely be flat or we may start to see some weakness today.
